Madeline A. Chorney, 88, of Palmyra, formerly Northampton, PA, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021, in WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. Born on June 11, 1933, in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Metro and Mary (Scherba) Bach. Madeline was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, in 1990. She was employed as a teller for Wachovia Bank retiring in 1998. In addition, Madeline was a handbag and hosier buyer for Farr's Brother Shoes for 25 years following serving as a saleswoman at Farr's Lehigh Shopping Center store. She was a member of St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Allentown.

Survivors: Madeline is survived by her son, Dr. Michael, and wife Karen; brothers, Robert, Metro Bach; and 4 grandchildren. A son, Robert, preceded Madeline in death.

Services: Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 26th at 10:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Family and friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home. Interment will be in Allen Union Cemetery, Northampton.
