Lucinda Rae Hess, 83, of Allentown, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospice, Inpatient Unit, Allentown. Born on January 17, 1939, in Bath, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Beatrice (Bartholomew) Silfies. She was of the Christian faith.

Survivors: Lucinda is survived by her son, Scott and wife, Amy; sister, Tegi Oplinger; brothers, Raymond and wife, Dorothy Silfies, Robin and wife, Jane Silfies; granddaughter, Alyssa; daughter-in-law, Claudia Hess; and several nieces and nephews. A son, Kipp Hess, and longtime companion, Peter Kuzma, preceded Lucinda in death.

Services: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 23 ^rd at 11:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home. Interment will be private.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley or to the Northampton Area Food Bank in loving memory of Lucinda. Online condolences may be offered below.
