Leo W.H. Schweitzer, 87, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Inpatient Hospice, Allentown. He was the husband for 66 years of the late Shirley V. (Muth), who passed away in August. Born April 22, 1936, in Kreidersville, he was a son of the late Harold and Dorothy (Snyder) Schweitzer. Leo worked as a molder at the former Dieter's Foundry for many years. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Leo was a lifetime member of the Allen Township Fire Co. He was a member of the Independent Order Foresters and Slatington Seniors. Leo loved fishing, gardening, traveling, and playing cards.

Survivors: daughter, Veronica P. Schweitzer and her companion, Bradley Fogel of Emmaus; grandchildren, Samantha, Garrett, and Gabriel; and great-grandchildren, Cora and Emma. Leo was predeceased by his daughter, Roxane Schneck, and siblings, Leonard and Pearl.

Services: A prayer service will be held on Friday, Dec. 22nd at 10:30 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Family and friends may call on Friday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
