Kathryn B. Vrabel, 88, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, surrounded by her family. Born on January 18, 1933, in Nanticoke, PA, she was a daughter of the late John and Katherine (Horvath) Vavrick. Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 2019. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Stiles, where she served as Eucharistic Minister and volunteered with various church activities for many years. Kathryn was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and enjoyed being part of the parish's regular pierogi making group. She also served as a librarian with Christ the King School.

Survivors: Kathryn is survived by her seven sons, John and wife, Debbi; David and wife, Cindy; Richard and wife, Kathleen; James and wife, MiRan; Matthew; Mark and wife, Maria; Paul and wife, Carolyn; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and brother, Eugene. Sisters, Eleanor, Magdalene, Marion, and a brother, John, preceded Kathryn in death.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 11 ^th at 10:30 a.m. in the church, 3024 S. Ruch St., Whitehall. Family and friends may call on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21 ^st St., Northampton. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
