Karl M. Knutsen, 85 of Whitehall, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021, in his home surrounded by his family. Born on July 1, 1936, in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Karl and Gunvar (Abrahamsen) Knutsen. Karl was preceded in death by his wife, Oli (Sikveland) Knutsen. He was employed as a deck hand on tugboats for Turecamo Maritime in Staten Island for 42 years. Karl honorable served our country in the US Army. He enjoyed fixing cars, baked goods, and spending time with his family. He was an avid Yankees Baseball fan.

Survivors: Karl is survived by his daughter, Wendy Knutsen-Hess and husband Richard; grandchildren, Gunnar, Bergen, Kjirsten, Konstanse and beloved cat, Odin.

Services: Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 18 ^th at 11:00 a.m. in Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Rd., Whitehall. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service in the church. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Allentown. Online condolences may be offered below.
