Judith Ann Kovach, 86 of Northampton passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 25, 2026 in Alexandria Manor, Nazareth. Born on February 11, 1940 in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Delphine (Becker) Newhard. Judith was preceded in death by her husband, Donald in 2023. She was a graduate of Northampton High School and worked as a bookkeeper at Rayleigh Cards and a waitress at the Hungarian Hall for many years. Judith was a member of Assumption BVM Catholic Church in Northampton. She enjoyed going to the casino and spending time with her grandchildren. 

Survivors: Judith is survived by her son, David and wife Jennifer Kovach; daughter, Marybeth Kovach; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Bryton, Gracelyn; sister, Sandra Marth; brothers, Bill and wife Donna Newhard, Patrick Schmidt and several nieces and nephews. Brothers, Richard, David, James, Bruce and brother-in-law, Paul Marth preceded Judith in death. 

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 31st at 10:00 a.m. in the church, 2181 Washington Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may call on Friday morning from 8:00 a.m. until 9:15 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Entombment will be at the parish cemetery.
