Obituary

Joyce C. Csencsits, 90, of Northampton, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg.

Born July 26, 1935, in Whitehall, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Julia (Koval) Faix.

A graduate of Whitehall High School, she was known in her younger years for her beautiful singing voice and was the lead singer in an a cappella group, where she shared her love of music with others.

Joyce began her professional career doing secretarial work at First National Bank in Allentown. She shared a loving marriage with her husband, Frank L. Csencsits, until his passing in 1993. Together, they built a life centered on family, love, and devotion.

After becoming a mother, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to raising her family, creating a home filled with love, care, and unwavering dedication. Later in life, Joyce worked in the cafeteria at Cedar Crest College, where she became known for her strong work ethic, kind spirit, and the genuine joy she found in connecting with the students.

Joyce found great happiness in cooking and baking and was especially known for sharing her homemade creations with family and friends. Whether through a warm meal, a favorite dessert, or a thoughtful gesture, she had a special way of making people feel loved and welcome.

Above all else, Joyce cherished her family, who remained the center of her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Lori Csencsits; along with cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her deeply and remember her with love.
