Josephine Paul, 84, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Bethlehem North Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Josephine was the loving wife of the late Godfrey Paul. Born in Nazareth on March 19, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Alois Hammer and Anna (Berner) Doncses Hammer. Josephine was a 1957 graduate of Nazareth High School. She was employed by Nazareth Mutual Insurance Company until retiring in 1999. Josephine was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton.

Survivors: her daughters, Rhonda Mickno and husband, Kenneth, and Sheila Paul; granddaughter, Jessica; brother, Alois Hammer and wife, Diane; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph, John, Edward, Roland, and Alfred, and sister, Anna Bodnar.

Services: A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 28th at 10:30 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Family and friends may gather Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery, Nazareth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to the American Cancer Society or National Kidney Foundation in loving memory of Josephine. Online condolences may be offered below.
