Joseph Sodl, 69 of Northampton, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2023 in Lehigh Valley Hospice Inpatient Unit, Allentown. Born January 18, 1954 in Northampton, he was the son of the late Herman and Hedwig (Sommer) Sodl. He was the husband of Sue Ann (Bohar) Sodl, with whom he shared 42 years of marriage. Joe was a Sales Manager for Unclaimed Freight for many years. He was an avid fisherman, who enjoyed spending time fishing with his son Kyle in the Catskills. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and enjoyed spending lots of precious time with his grandchildren.

Survivors: Wife; son Kyle Sodl; daughter Kayla Sodl and companion Jarrod; grandchildren Kaylena, Jayven, and Jaxxon; siblings Charles "Sonny" Sodl, Theresa Gerlach, Herman Sodl and wife Queen Ann, and Michael Sodl and wife Joanne; sister-in-law Rose Marie Spengler and husband Donald; nieces and nephews.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 noon in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21 ^st St., Northampton. Family and friends may call Wednesday 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the funeral home. Online condolences may be submitted below.
