Joseph Lahner, 98, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Renaissance Home, Northampton. He was the husband of the late Emma (Schatz) for 61 years, until her passing in November 2020. Born August 26, 1926, in Northampton, he was the son of the late Alois and Maria (Lahner) Grohotolski. Joseph worked at the former H. Leh & Co. for 18 years; prior to that he worked at Giant Cement. He was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton, and St. Joseph Sick & Benefit Club.

Survivors: daughters, Wilma Wittreich and Diane Yandrisevits; grandsons, Louis, Joseph and his wife, Christine, and Michael and his wife, Christine; great-grandchildren, Brian, Michael, Justin, Joseph, Courtney, and Shannon; great-great grandchildren, Alexander, Alessandra, and Skylar.

Services: A prayer service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 13th at 11:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Family and friends may call on Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Northampton.
