Joseph P. “Joe” Kraynick, 63, of Allentown, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Born in Catasauqua on June 10, 1963, he was the son of the late John and Joanne (Holena) Kraynick. Joe was a 1981 graduate of Catasauqua High School. He had a lifetime career as a production meat specialist. For the past several years, employed by The Fresh Market in Center Valley and earlier years at Sam’s Club and Laneco. Joe was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Catasauqua. Joe was a hard worker and in his free time enjoyed camping and bingo nights with friends, working in his yard, cooking, and participating in The Old Allentown Historic Association. Joe especially loved spending time with his family and his two dogs, Riley and Roscoe. Joe will be forever loved and deeply missed by his family. 

Survivors: brothers, Richard and wife, Sue, and Stephen and wife, Jane; sisters, Patricia Seier and long-time companion, Gail Jerdon, and Joanne Mottau and husband, Scott; and sister-in-law, Dianna Kraynick; and many nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by his brother, John Kraynick, and niece, Rachelle Kraynick. 

Services: A private family service will be held. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to Lehigh County Humane Society or St. Mary’s Church, Catasauqua in Joe’s memory. Online condolences may be offered below.
