John A. Shearer, 66 of Coplay, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023 in his home. Born on June 22, 1957 in Plattsburgh, NY, he was a son of Myles Jr. and Maryann (Montanari) Shearer of Coplay. John was employed in construction most of his life. He loved the outdoors, hiking, his Harleys and beloved dogs.

Survivors: In addition to his parents, John is survived by his daughter, Sherry Shearer; granddaughter, Sakari Fogel; his companion, Grace David; nephew, Myles and his niece, Michelle. A brother Myles III preceded John in death.

Services: Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to an animal charity of one's choice in loving memory of John.
