John attended Northampton schools and served his country in the Army stationed in Korea. He was an entrepreneur eventually establishing his own real estate and insurance firm. Over the 30+ years of practice, he enjoyed all conversations with his customers.

Professionally, John served on the Boards of Director of Cement National Bank, Lehigh Valley International Airport, Northampton Borough Municipal Authority and the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the National Football Foundation. His personal life was enjoyed with his golfing friends at Brookside CC as well his tournaments with close friend, Dr. Haberern, at Lehigh CC. John was a member of Queenship of Mary Church and BVM's Young at Heart group.
