John E. Mickley Jr., 88, of Northampton, passed suddenly Friday, March 12, 2021. He was the husband of Hilda (Jandrisovits) Mickley and they would have celebrated 68 years of marriage on June 6 ^th . Born August 21, 1932 in Northampton, he was the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Lokay) Mickley. John retired from Northampton Borough Municipal Authority in 1995 after 39 years of employment. He was a member of Queenship of Mary Church. John honorably served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Post #454.

Survivors: wife, Hilda; sons, Jack and his wife, Denise, David and his wife, Mary, and Michael Mickley; grandchildren, Justin, Ryan, Kristen, Melissa, Tyler, Samantha, and Lauren; great grandchildren, Devin, Madison, and Nathan.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 19 ^th at 10:30 a.m. in Queenship of Mary Church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton, PA. The Mass will be livestreamed on the church's YouTube channel. Burial will follow in the Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
