John F. Marth, Jr., 73, of Newfoundland, passed away on March 8, 2023. Born on March 25, 1949, in Northampton, he was a son of Pauline (Turko) Marth and the late John F. Marth, Sr. John was a graduate of Northampton High School in 1967. He was in the USMM and an accomplished world traveler before retiring to the Pocono Mountains. John enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid musician and guitarist. Survivors: mother, Pauline; brother, Michael; cousins and extended family; and companion, Sharlene Gabaldon. He was predeceased by his father, John, Sr.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 25 ^th at 10:00 a.m. in Queenship of Mary Church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery.
