John M. Kovalovsky, 91, of Bath, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, in his home surrounded by his family. Born on January 17, 1931, in Allentown, he was a son of the late Andrew and Valerie (Petrokovic) Kovalovsky. John was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, in 2010. He was employed for over 40 years as a laborer for National Portland Cement and Keystone Cement until his retirement. John honorably served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War on the USS NOA, DD-841 from 1949-1956. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church of Bath, Bath American Legion, and Keystone Rod and Gun Club. He served with the Bath Ambulance and as a Bath fire fighter for several years.

Survivors: John is survived by his sons, Anthony and wife, Betsy, Daniel and wife, Evelyn; granddaughter, Kimberly Weatherby and husband, Brad; and several nieces and nephews. Sisters, Carolyn Hughes and Elizabeth Arnold, and brothers, Andrew, Joseph, and Anthony, preceded John in death.

Services: Family and friends may call on Monday, December 12 ^th from 8:30 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21 ^st St., Northampton. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. in the church, 210 E. Northampton St., Bath. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
