John F. Hart, 82, of Kunkletown, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, in Myrtle Beach, SC. Born January 28, 1942, in Allentown, he was a son of the late George and Mary (Driscoll) Hart. John worked as a research analyst at Bethlehem Steel for 36 years. He honorably served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. John was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Post 454 and the Disabled American Veterans. John volunteered for over 30 years at the Celtic Festival in Bethlehem. John was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church.
Survivors: sons, Richard and wife, Colleen Gallagher, and David; daughters, Cheryl Kline and husband, Terry, and Natalie Hart and partner, Jason Trinkle; grandchildren, Lauren, Jake, Danielle, Riley, Connor and Joshua; siblings, William and wife, Michelle, Mary Hart, Kathy Reed, Ann Danek and husband, Ray, Elizabeth Czeknar, and Thomas and wife, Deborah. John was predeceased by brothers, Charles and Michael, and sister, Virginia.
Joint funeral services with his brother, Joseph Hart, who passed on Oct. 7, 2024: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Oct. 18th at 11:00 a.m. in Queenship of Mary Church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may gather on Friday morning from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered below.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to the Catholic War Veterans Post 454 c/o funeral home in John's memory.
