Jeannette B. Deutsch, 88, of Easton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital-Anderson Campus. She was the wife of the late Nicholas I. Deutsch, Jr. Born November 7, 1933, in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Sadie (Reed) Border. Jeannette began her training and working in the meat department at the 25 ^th Street Acme in Easton. Over the years, she transitioned to the Nazareth Acme and worked for 38 years until her retirement. Jeannette loved all animals, especially dogs. She enjoyed polka dancing and would travel with family and friends to listen to polka bands, including the Happy Austrians.

Survivors: daughter, Pamela Kolb and husband, Mark; stepson, Timothy N. Deutsch; and several nieces and nephews. Jeannette was predeceased by her brothers, Oliver, Donald, John, Russell, and Earl.

Services: A prayer service will be held on Saturday, March 5 ^th at 11:30 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21 ^st St., Northampton. Family and friends may gather Saturday from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Easton.
