Jan Jozef Gabryel, 69, of Freemansburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at St. Luke’s University Hospital – Bethlehem Campus, surrounded by his loving family. Jan and his wife, Grazyna (Czapla) Gabryel, celebrated 46 years of marriage. Born on February 15, 1957, in Poland, he was the son of the late Lucjan and Zofia (Nedza) Gabryel. Jan was a member of St. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Bethlehem. 

In addition to his wife, Jan is survived by his daughter, Kasia Cowitch and her husband, Chris; his grandchildren, Jake, Karsyn, and Ashton; a brother, cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
