Irene Sheckler, 95, of Northampton, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late Kenneth W. Sheckler. Born November 27, 1926, in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Catherine (Youngkoski) Gaczor. Irene was a hairdresser and owned her own beauty shop in Northampton for many years. She was a member of Queenship of Mary Church. Irene was an avid reader.

Survivors: son, Gregory A. Sheckler and wife, Marianne; grandson, Rodney Sheckler; great-grandson, Nicholas Sheckler; sisters, Wanda Erdosy, Jean Kotrosits, and Catherine Tapler; and loving nieces and nephews. Irene was predeceased by her sister, Helen Sodl and brother, Stanley Gaczor.

Private services are under the direction of Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
