Irene Datta, 95, formerly of Walnutport, PA, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021, at the Phoebe Nursing Home, Allentown, PA. She was the wife of the late Joseph Datta. Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Julia Kochan Barna and granddaughter of the late Dominica and Harry Kochan. She worked for 15 years in the garment industry and 30 years for Holiday Inn and Days Inn.

She is survived by two daughters, Juliann and her husband Joseph Rothdeutsch, Jr of Walnutport, PA, Maria and her husband Robert Nyce of Florida; three grandchildren, Jennifer Domchek, Mathew Rothdeutsch, Niki Rothdeutsch; five great grandchildren, Dalton Domchek, Dylan Domchek, Jessica Domchek, Emma Rothdeutsch and Abby Rothdeutsch. She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph Cenchitz and James Cenchitz.
