Irene Ambrosino, 91, earned her wings Thursday, February 10th, 2022 while residing in Virginia Beach, Va.

She was the daughter of the late John Konapeyus and Anna (Strongowski) Konapeyus.

Wife of the late Samuel Ambrosino for 60 years, she was also a loving mother to daughter, Connie Bowen of Virginia Beach, VA, and son, Michael and his wife Cindy of Florida. Irene had 6 adoring grandchildren; Benjamin and his wife Dayna, triplets; Christopher, Courtney, Cara, and Brandon. She was especially proud to be a great grandmother to Bryce and Dillion. She is also survived by her sisters Helen Bennicas of Allentown and Joanne Kucharczuk of Arizona along with 11 nieces and nephews.

Irene was a seamstress at Cross Country Clothes for 45 years. After retirement she enjoyed a life full of love, laugher and most importantly, her family. Irene was a long-time member of Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Church of Northampton, PA.

In her memory, contributions can be sent to Irene's favorite charity, St Jude Children's Research Hospital.

A celebration of life will be at a later date.
