Ida M. Simon, 94, of Coplay, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2023, in Bethlehem Manor. Born on November 6, 1928 in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late John and Emilia (Ganster) Semler. Ida was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph. She was employed as a presser in the garment industry for many years. She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay, and the Altar and Rosary Society.

Survivors: Ida is survived by her sons, Mark, Joseph, and wife, Maureen; grandchildren, Shelby and husband, Oscar, Brad and wife, Lauren; great-granddaughter, Taylor; and several nieces and nephews. Daughter, Carol Confer, and brothers, John, Joseph, Edward, William, Raymond, and Albert, preceded Ida in death.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 21 ^st at 10:00 a.m. in the church, 4 So. 5 ^th St., Coplay. Family and friends may call on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21 ^st St., Northampton. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
