Hermina M. Augustine, 91, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Martin F. Augustine, who passed away in 2008. They were married for 53 years. Born November 13, 1929 in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Wolfel) Grossbauer. Hermina was a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church.

Survivors: her daughters, Susan A., wife of Robert Bender, with whom she resided, Diane M. Silfies, and Martina, wife Bruce Biechy; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Hermina was predeceased by her sister, Ernestine Gerancher, and brothers, John and Edward.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Feb. 22 ^nd at 10:30 a.m. in St. Nicholas Church, 4412 Mountain View Dr., Walnutport. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Northampton. Those in attendance will kindly be requested to practice social distancing and wear a face cover.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be presented to the church in loving memory of Hermina. Online condolences may be offered above.
