Helen P. Demchuk, 93 of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 7, 2023 in St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem. Born on May 14, 1929 in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Boris) Plotsko. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Eugene, son, Eugene Gregory and beloved dog, Buttons. She was employed as a cleaner for Western Electric/AT&T for over 20 years. Helen was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Northampton and the Pioneer Club. She was an avid baker.

Survivors: Helen is survived by her daughters, Deborah A. Keppel, Patricia Cowitch and husband Leonard; son, Eugene; grandchildren, Leonard and wife Angela, Leah and husband Matthew, Christopher and wife Kasia, Nathaniel; great grandchildren, Alekszandria, Jacob, Isabella, Natalya, Karsyn, Ashton, and several nieces and nephews. Siblings, Mary, Anna, John, Rose, Michael, Harry, Charlie, Julie preceded Helen in death.

Services: A Divine Liturgy will be held on Thursday, January 12 ^th at 10:30 a.m. in the church, 1343 Newport Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 8:45 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21 ^st St., Northampton. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in loving memory of Helen.
