Helen Forrester Cownie (nee Brash), 93, of Northampton, formerly of the Jersey Shore, died on Friday, April 23, 2021 surrounded by her daughters. Helen was the wife of the late Douglas Cownie. Born March 7, 1928 in Glasgow, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Erskine and Catherine (McClay) Brash.

Survivors: daughters, Moira DiBenedetto and her husband, Dennis, and Helen Seier and her husband, Ronald; grandchildren, Faith (Reid), Beth (Vincent), Kenny (Danielle), Jocelyn and Veronica; great grandchildren, Gavin, Audrey, Charlotte, Madalynn, Vincent, and Elliott. Helen was predeceased by her brother, Erskine.
