Helen Bennicas, of Cementon, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 27, 2022, in her home at the age of 91. Helen was born on October 19, 1931 in Ormrod. She was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Strongowski) Konapeyus. Helen was the wife of Fred, who passed away in 2006. She was employed as a seamstress at Cross Country Clothes for many years as well as a devoted housewife and mother figure to all. She was a gentle and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be remembered for her love of family, friends, and Wrigley's chewing gum.

Survivors: Helen is survived by her daughter, Laurie Bennicas; son, Jeffrey and wife, Kathy; granddaughters, Alexandra and Samantha Mehalshick; one great-granddaughter; sister, JoAnne Kucharczuk; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Helen is preceded in death by; her sisters, Irene Ambrosino, Anna Geosits; and brother, Ed Konapeyus.

Services: Graveside services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
