Helen B. Benetzky, 90, of Northampton, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021. She was the wife of the late John Benetzky, who passed away Feb. 18, 2005. Born Dec. 20, 1930 in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Aniela (Cznadel) Niedospial. Helen was a member of Queenship of Mary Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. She worked at D&D Shirt Factory and retired in 1962.

Survivors: sons, John Jr., James and wife, Pamela, and Jeffrey and wife, Tina; grandchildren, James R., Kaitlin, and Zachary; nieces and nephews; and godchildren. Helen was predeceased by brothers, Adam, John, Joseph and Frank, and sisters, Mary Piotrowski, Stella Sienkiewicz, Frances Bomba and Victoria Schwerk.

Services: A prayer service will be held on Thursday, April 8 ^th at 11:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21 ^st St., Northampton. Family and friends may call Thursday from 10 – 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery. Those in attendance will kindly be requested to practice social distancing and wear a face cover.
