Harold E. Wisser, 87, of Perry, Georgia, formerly of Lehigh Township, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022, in Atrium Health Navicent, The Medical Center, Macon, GA. Born on February 17, 1935, in Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Herbert Wisser, Mae (Everett) Wisser, and stepfather, George Stettler. Harold and his wife, Diane, celebrated 7 years of marriage together. He was employed as a machine operator at Tarkett retiring in 1977. He later worked in maintenance at Colonial IU in Walnutport for several years. He was a faithful member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Walnutport. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #16656 for many years. Harold was an avid sports fan, especially for Penn State and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Survivors: In addition to his wife, Harold is survived by daughters, Janet and husband, James Weaver, and Donna Reed; a son, Joseph and companion, Becky; stepdaughters, Sharon Ackerman, Deborah Anspach and husband, David, Annette Bannon and husband, Terence, Lisa Ruggiero and husband, Peter, Nicole Sevigny and husband, Scott; stepsons, Brian Mace and wife, Carol, John Bennett and wife, Amy; 6 grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 step great-grandson; sister, Elda Sharkazy; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Harold is preceded in death by his first wife, Lorraine (Schlegel); second wife, Nancy (Bright); and brothers, Ralph and Robert Wisser.
Services: Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, September 5 th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21 st St., Northampton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 6 th at 10:30 a.m. in the church, 4412 Mountainview Dr., Walnutport. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Allentown. Online condolences may be offered below.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church in loving memory of Harold.
