Gregory John Wolfer, 75, of Northampton, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021 in his home. Born on May 8, 1946, in Allentown, he was a son of the late Joseph and Julia (Bertoni) Wolfer. Gregory was the owner and operator of Wolfer's Service Station from 1963 until his retirement in 2002. He honorably served our country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church in Northampton. In addition, he was a member of the Holy Name Society, American Legion Post 353, Catholic War Vets Post 454, Northampton VFW Post 4714, and the Northampton Recreation Center for many years.

Survivors: Gregory is survived by a sister, Christine Durney and husband, William; brothers, John P. Wolfer and wife, Michele, Joseph J. Wolfer; several nieces and nephews; and his best friend since Kindergarten, James Stanz.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 3 ^rd at 10:30 a.m. in the church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass in the church. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
