Geraldine M. (Failer) Krautsack, 85, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully at home with her devoted daughter Dulci, by her side.
Geri was the daughter of the late Charles and Hilda (Fiertag) Failer of Hokendauqua, previously North Coplay.
From a young age, Geri was known for her talent as an artist. From her beautiful sculptures and her life-like pencil sketches. Her gift for artistry will remain alive in the many pieces of art she created over the decades. Geri graduated from Whitehall High School class of 1957, where she was active in the Art Club, Journalism Club, and Girls Chorus She worked at Sears & Roebuck. Her focus was more on her family and Artistry.
She married her husband Albert F. Krautsack April 19,1959 and celebrated 64 years. Albert predeceased her in death, January 2024.
She will always be treasured for her nurturing motherhood by making her children's lives creatively memorable through her endless talent for creative arts. Making all holidays and birthdays special through her artistic and hand-crafted art. She was exceptional at decorating, sewing, gardening, painting and the list goes on.
She is survived by her daughter and caregiver, Dulci J. Krautsack and her beloved pups Maddie and Honey; sons, Mark and wife, Patty; Alan and partner Cassie; She leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; siblings Patricia Rothdeutsch, husband Joseph, Cassandra Logio, widowed (James).
Geri will be laid to rest next to her devoted husband in St. Johns Union Cemetery, Whitehall. Cemetery services will be held on Friday, December 6th at 10:00 a.m. in the cemetery, Eberhart Rd., Whitehall. Arrangements are under the direction of Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton. Online condolences may be given by "paying the love forward" and by signing in her guest book online
