Gary B. Gilbert, 74, of Northampton, passed away on July 23, 2026 in Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg. Born January 18, 1952 in Allentown, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Elsie (Meckes) Gilbert. Gary was a self-employed furniture repairman for many years. He enjoyed yard sales, flea markets, and attending auctions. Gary honorably served our country in the U.S. Army. 

Survivors: siblings, Kenneth Lee Gilbert, Jr and wife Irma, Shirley A. LaFleur and husband George, Elaine Lindenmoyer and husband Dennis, Sr, Dennis Gilbert and wife Patricia, Mark Gilbert and wife Heather; several nieces and nephews. Brothers, Robert and Raymond Gilbert preceded Gary in death. 

Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 30th at 11:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Family and friends may gather on Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in Zion Cemetery, Northampton.
