Frank J. "Fats" Yandrasitz, 88, formerly of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. He was the husband of the late Margaret (Thomas) Shedmock. Born December 4, 1932, in Coplay, he was a son of the late Adolph Yandrasitz and Theresa (Rainbeck) Schmall. Frank graduated from Northampton High School in 1950. He retired in 1988 as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, Northampton after 37 years. Frank was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, Whitehall. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Frank was a life member of the Catholic War Vets. Post 454 and the Northampton VFW Post 4714. He was also a life member of the Alliance Fire Co. and the Northampton Liederkranz.

Survivors: stepdaughters, Karen Lubenetski and husband, Tom, and Susan Tardone; granddaughters, Jessica Powell and husband, Stephen, and Emily Lubenetski; and great grandson, Elliot. Frank was predeceased by his brother and three sisters.

Services: A prayer service will be held on Friday, July 30 ^th at 11:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21 ^st St., Northampton. Family and friends may gather on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorials Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in loving memory of Frank. Online condolences may be offered below.
