Obituary

Francis W. Pany, 80, of Northampton passed away peacefully Monday, December 5, 2016 in the St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown Campus surrounded by his loving family. Francis and his wife, Anna Mae (Graboritz) Pany, celebrated 57 years of marriage on September 5th. Born October 3, 1936 in Northampton, he was the son of the late Ignatz and Elizabeth (Garger) Pany.

Francis worked at A&B Meats in Allentown for many years and he retired from the Pillsbury Company. He was a member of Queenship of Mary Church. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. Francis loved his family and playing with the grandchildren. He enjoyed entertaining his family and friends with his accordion.

Survivors: wife, Anna Mae; sons, Richard Pany and his wife Maryann, Jonathan Pany and his wife Tracy, all of Northampton; 4 grandchildren, Emily, Richard, Olivia and Nathan; step-grandchildren, Mark, Eric and Justina; step-great-grandchildren, Javian and Bryce; brothers, Sylvester Pany and his wife Shirley of Schnecksville, Alfred Pany and his wife Marie of Northampton, Alois Pany of Northampton; sister, Hilda Pany of Northampton; many nieces and nephews. Francis was predeceased by brothers, Edward, Anthony, Ignatius and William and sisters, Mary Pany, Stella Bahnick, Pauline Moyer, Theresa Malloy and Rose Pany.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 8th at 11:00 a.m. in Queenship of Mary Church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may call Thursday 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton.
