Francine Alice Nush, 79 of Allentown, PA joined her fellow angels in heaven on the morning of Palm Sunday, April 10, 2022. Raised in Eatontown, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Himsel and Amelia (Solar) Himsel. Francine graduated from Immaculata College and went on to teach public elementary school. She then took time to raise her four children returning to teach years later within both public and private (parochial) schools. Francine was a compassionate and devoted teacher who touched many lives through her work. If this was a question on her favorite TV show, Jeopardy, Alex Trebek would recite; This amazing women was known for…time with family, pandas, apple crisp, sour cream donuts, sugar, boutiquing, Roger Whitaker, Andrea Bocelli, Jeopardy, and birthday serenades. The answer would be – "Who is Francine Nush?" Francine was to celebrate her 57 ^th wedding anniversary in July to her love Paul. Francine will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Paul Nush Jr., her children; Deana (husband Christopher), Tamela, Paul III (wife Christina), Craig and 11 grandchildren.

Family and friends may call on Monday evening, April 18 ^th , from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 19 ^th at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception BVM Catholic Church, 501 Ridge Ave., Allentown. Interment will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in loving memory of Francine.
