Ernest S. Fahringer, 81, of Northampton, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022 peacefully in his home surrounded by his family. Ernest and his wife Patricia (Knopf) would have celebrated 60 years of marriage on February 24. Born in Coplay, he was a son of the late Ernest E. and Mabel (Grim) Fahringer. He was employed as an electrician for 38 years at Tarkett Manufacturing before retiring in 1996. He honorably served in the US Army. He was a part of the 101st Airborne Division as a paratrooper.

Ernie was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by wife Patricia. Son David and wife Beth, and daughters Lisa and Kelley. Grandchildren April, Carissa, Stephen, Ryan, Marysa, and Kyle. Great-grandson Brady. Sisters Shirley, Jen, and Linda. He was predeceased by brother Ronald, and sister Betty.

Services private at the convenience of the family.
