Emma E. Herschman, 96, of Northampton passed away peacefully Saturday, October 8, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late George P. "Yudie" Herschman who died September 23, 2001. Born March 14, 1920 in Dewey Heights, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Katie (Kachmarcik) Nederostek. She was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton.

Survivors: daughter, Patricia, wife of Edward Serensits; sons, George J. and wife Susan, Joseph F. and wife Marie, Fred E.; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 13th at 10:30 a.m. in Queenship of Mary Church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may call Thursday 8:30am - 10:00am in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st Street, Northampton. Burial will follow in the Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery.
