Elizabeth "Lisa" Schneider, 60, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family. Lisa and her husband, Robert, would have celebrated 38 years of marriage on June 22nd. Born February 8, 1963, in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of Edward and Kaliope (Koumparoulis) Sklavos. Lisa earned her master's degree in education from East Stroudsburg University. For over 30 years, she worked as a nurse across various disciplines including ER, hospice, labor and delivery, and school nursing. Following retirement, she found great enjoyment being a poker dealer at a local casino. Lisa loved playing poker and board games at home with her family and friends. She was a member of Assumption BVM Church in Northampton. Lisa loved to cook, eat, and travel anywhere there was crystal clear water, especially the Caribbean. Her family and friends were the light of her life; she will be missed beyond words by all who loved her.

In addition to her husband, Lisa is survived by her sons, Kyle and his fiancée, Francesca, Christopher and his wife, Ragen, and her daughter, Olivia; brother, Alex Sklavos and his wife, Kathleen; and stepmother, Electra Sklavos.

Services: A prayer service will be held on Thursday, June 15th at 10:30 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st Street, Northampton. Viewings will be held for family and friends Wednesday night from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
