Elizabeth McCaffrey, 82 of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2025, surrounded by family. Born on October 20, 1942, in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Law) Witz. Elizabeth and her husband, Edward, would have celebrated 60 years of marriage together this June. She was employed as a nurse for ASH Hospital and Underwood Memorial Hospital for many years. She was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

Survivors: In addition to her husband, Elizabeth is survived by her children, Edward and wife Lisa, Monica Check and husband Jim, Bill, Michael and wife Kelly, Meghan Lloyd and husband Jerry; grandchildren, Max, Christian, Dylan, Luke, Courtney, Jimmy, Brian, Kevin, Frankie, Mary, Quin, Collin, Cameron, Tommy, Jack; brothers, William Witz and wife Kathy, Joe Witz and wife Jeanne and several nieces and nephews. A sister, Janet Sciuto preceded Elizabeth in death.

Services: Services will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Ghost Catholic Church in loving memory of Elizabeth.
