Elizabeth T. "Betty" Mittl, 90, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at the Renaissance Home, Northampton. She was the wife of the late Stephen J. Mittl. Born November 30, 1932, in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Edward J., Sr. and Mary (Harder) Kotcher. Betty worked in the clerical department at the former B. Auto Parts in Allentown for 21 years until retiring in 1971. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton. A special thank you for the excellent care provided to Betty by the Renaissance Home and Family Pillars Hospice. Survivors: sister-in-law, Marilyn Kotcher; cousin, William Harder and wife, Carol; great-nephew, Christian Mills and wife, Kimberly; great-great niece, Stephanie; and great-niece, Patricia Bennett and husband, Eric. Elizabeth was predeceased by her brother, Edward J., Jr.

Services: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 16th at 10:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 9 – 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Whitehall.
