Eleanor M. Burnatowski, 96, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Genesis Rehab., Macungie, in the arms of her daughter, Maria. She was the wife of the late John Burnatowski, who passed away in July 1994. Born February 18, 1928, in Cementon, she was a daughter of the late George and Johanna (Bednarcik) Cuth. Eleanor began volunteering at Sacred Heart Hospital in 1979, where she continuously offered her giving hand for many years. She also enjoyed volunteering with Meals on Wheels. Eleanor loved taking day trips to Lancaster to explore old and new favorite spots. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

Survivors: daughter, Maria Burnatowski; son, John and wife, Christine; daughter-in-law, Rosie; grandson, David and wife, Linda; great-granddaughter, Aleena; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son, Jeffrey, and many siblings.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Feb. 14th at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1046 W. Cedar St., Allentown. Family and friends may call on Thursday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton and Friday morning from 9:00 – 9:45 a.m. in the church. Interment will follow in Assumption BVM Cemetery, Northampton.
