Edward L. Seier, 86, of Cherryville, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 9, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family. Edward and his wife, Ardys (Freeman), celebrated 64 years of marriage in February. Born July 5, 1938, in Northampton, he was a son of the late Stephen and Stella (Grabner) Seier. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard as a sergeant. Edward worked part-time as a Lehigh County Deputy Sheriff. Edward began his career as a sales representative for Reynx Field Corp. and John Hancock Life Insurance. He then transitioned to a self-employed real estate agent and timeshare consultant, which he maintained for the last 30 years. Edward was a life member of Allen Township Fire Co. and a charter member of Woodstone Country Club. He was a past State Representative JC Northampton. Edward loved golfing and fishing.

In addition to his wife, Edward is survived by his daughter, Jeanine Seier; son-in-law, Glenn Race; grandchildren, Daniel and wife, Melinda, Michael and wife, Shamarie, Robert and wife, Nicole, Tara and fiancé, Justin, and Justin and wife, Veronica; great-grandchildren, Alexander, Jack, Kase, Haley, and Audrey; brother, Ronald and wife, Helen; and many nieces and nephews. Edward was predeceased by his daughter, Debora Race, and brothers, Stephen and Richard.

Private services are under the direction of Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
