Dr. Edward John Paul Ciecko, DO, 62, of Philadelphia, died of natural causes on Monday, July 12, 2021. Born June 14, 1959, in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Edward J. and Anne C. He channeled his creativity and wit through gifts, gags, and delicious feasts to make gatherings of friends and family exceptional. As a Holy Ghost Prep student, he volunteered at the Mutter Museum and later earned his degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1985. He was a patron of the arts and a dedicated physician who was never too busy to answer a call for help.
Survived by his brother, Dr. Joseph Ciecko; sisters, Anne Ciecko (Rahul) and Patrice Steck (Joseph); nieces, Alaina and Alycia; special friend, Mary Mulholland; and beloved dogs, Pax, Mier, and Pohoda.
