Edward F. Mrowka, Sr., 93, of Northampton, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospice House in Bethlehem. Born August 29, 1932, in Shamokin, he was the son of the late Adolph and Stella (Massavage) Mrowka. Edward was preceded in death by his loving wife, Catherine (Yost), in 2024 after 72 years of marriage. He worked as a welder and fabricator for most of his life and retired from Ingersoll Rand after more than 25 years of service. He was also a member of the Hungarian Hall. Edward is survived by his son, Edward Jr., and his wife, Carol; son-in-law, David Miles; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Miles.

Services: A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, at Concordia Lutheran Church, 3285 Pheasant Dr., Northampton. Interment will be private. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
