Douglas P. Kleintop Sr., 66, of Coplay, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital – Allentown Campus. Born February 7, 1960, in Allentown, he was a son of Janet A. (Harhart) Deiley, of Northampton, and the late Clifford T. Kleintop Jr. Douglas was employed as a mechanic at Harharts Service Station, Inc., before continuing his career with Mack Trucks, from which he eventually retired. He was an avid enthusiast of motorcycles, boating, and snowmobiling, pursuits that brought him great enjoyment throughout his life. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Douglas P. Jr. and his wife, Amanda, and Tara; granddaughters, Avery and Sydney; brothers, Thomas and wife, Tammy, and Dan; and nieces and nephews. 

Services: A gathering with the family will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 8th from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton, followed by a prayer service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Online condolences may be offered below.
