Dolores M. Winkelbauer, 87, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth. She was the loving wife of the late Anthony J. Winkelbauer. Born December 20, 1936, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Felix A. and Helen (Kochan) Hammel. Dolores was a graduate from Central Catholic High School and St. Mary's School of Nursing in Philadelphia. She was a registered nurse at Haff Hospital, Northampton, Allentown General Hospital and later retired as an RN Supervisor at Gracedale Nursing Home. She was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church. Dolores was also a member of the Friendly Fifties. She enjoyed bingo, along with spending time with family and friends. She was always putting a smile on everyone's face with her kind hearted spirit! She will be lovingly remembered and missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors: sons, Mark and companion, Vicki, James, and Anthony Jr.; daughter, Christine Grady; grandchildren, Gianna and Cecelia Winkelbauer, and Derrick Russell; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Donald and Felix Jr.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 3rd at 10:30 a.m.in Queenship of Mary Church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Northampton. Arrangements are under the direction of Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
