They went to the Salmon River in New York every year. She also spent many weeks at their cabin in Shunk, PA. For many years, Dolores was also known for making lamb cakes at Easter. One time making over 20 of them for friends and family. She was a big fan of the Philadelphia Eagles & Phillies.
Dolores is survived by her children, Charmaine Magnuzewski and her husband, Joe, James Hoppes, Jr. and his wife, Donna, Valerie Madea and her husband, David (with whom she resided for 15 years), Rodney Hoppes and his wife, Shari; 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Donald Edelman (Miriam), Eugene Edelman (Sharon); sister, Marlene Newhart; and many loving nieces and nephews.
