Delia Marie (Allen) Nace, 90 years, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2023, at Phoebe Nursing Home, Allentown surrounded by her loving family. Born in Philadelphia, Delia was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Allen. The youngest of five children, Delia was predeceased by her siblings.

A great love story began when Delia met Robert Nace. They were married 55 years before his passing in 2009. Ten lucky children knew her as "Mom" - Marie (John) Sabadish, Robert (Jody) Nace, Theresa (the late Edward) Davis, Kathleen (George) Zionkowski, Joseph (Pam) Nace, Eileen (Andy) DeWitt, Arthur (MaryJo) Nace, Michael (Lynn) Nace, Madeleine (Jeff) Barna, and their little angel Bernadette who is reunited with her parents in Heaven. Twenty grandchildren called her "Mom-Mom" and although Alzheimer's took away her ability to know her 34 great-grandchildren, Delia can now love them from Heaven. This big Irish family with many nieces and nephews brought joy to Delia's world. Delia will always be remembered for her kind and gentle heart, quiet and loving nature, undying devotion to family and strong Catholic faith. Delia will be missed tremendously, and her legacy will live on because of the example of strength and character demonstrated to everyone around her.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 31st at 10:30 a.m. in the Queenship of Mary Church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may call Tuesday 8:15 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. in the church. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hungary Parish Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered below.
