David A. Stuber, 77, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family. David and his wife, Carol A. (Legath), celebrated 53 years of marriage. Born February 9, 1947, in Allentown, he was a son of the late Robert Sr. and Anne Mae (Johnson) Stuber. David graduated from Louis E. Dieruff High School in 1966. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War. David worked at the former Lumber Yard in Whitehall and Mack Trucks, Inc. He was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church and the Egypt VFW Post 7593. For many years, David enjoyed bowling at the Coplay American Club and Coplay Saengerbund. He loved to play golf.
In addition to his wife, David is survived by his sons, Brian and Eric and his wife, Sarah; grandsons, Andrew, Noah and Callen; and granddogs, Charli and Libby. David was predeceased by his brother, Robert Jr.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Dec. 23rd at 10:30 a.m. in Assumption BVM Church, 22nd St. and Washington Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may call on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass in the church. Entombment will follow with military honors in the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in David's memory. Online condolences may be offered below.
