David A. Machesic, 72, of Bethlehem, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. David and his wife, Nancy (Ney), celebrated 53 years of marriage on March 16 ^th . Born August 17, 1948 in Lewisburg, he was a son of the late Clifford and Grace (Hess) Machesic. David worked as a manager at Victaulic for 40 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. David loved the outdoors, especially spending time out in the woods. He genuinely loved his dogs and spending quality time with his granddaughters.

In addition to his wife, David is survived by daughter, Christine Dech and her husband, Scott; granddaughters, Alicia and Kirsten Dech; siblings, Linda Machesic, Gary Machesic and his wife, Lisa, Dale Machesic and his wife, Ann, and Kate Schaeffer and her husband, Art; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: Family and friends may gather on Friday, April 30 ^th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21 ^st St., Northampton. Those in attendance will kindly be requested to practice social distancing and wear a face cover. A celebration of life will be held on June 26th, for details please reach out to the family.
